The MAE type static seal is a Back Up Ring that is used alongside an O RIng when the demands are too much for an O Ring on its own.
The O RIng would be mounted with either one or two anti-extrusion rings for simple or double effect.
The MAE range is made from Thermoplastic Polyster Polymer and is yellow in colour. It shows extended resistance to extrusion and excellent fluid compatibility.
