Artic Seals designs, develops and manufactures a range of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Wipers for cylinders, actuators with linear and rotary movements. The primary function of a wiper seal is to prevent contaminants such as dust, dirt or moisture from entering the system as the rod retracts back in to the cylinder. Contamination is one of the greatest risks to hydraulic and pneumatic systems as contaminants can compromise the fluid or air resulting in decreased performance and efficiency and at worst case contaminants can cause seal failure, leakage and hardware damage. The wiper also creates a static seal against atmosphere and in some cases can control oil flow and pressure build up within the sealing system.

Artic offers a wide range of Wiper Seals incorporating special and standard features in materials including TPU, TPE, PTFE, NBR, High-Performance Engineered Plastics and Metals.
