ROD SEALS

Artic Seals designs, develops and manufactures Hydraulic and Pneumatic Rod Seals for cylinders, actuators and other pressure related systems. A Rod Seal is critical within a single or double acting cylinder or actuator as its function is to maintain pressure within the system and prevent external leakage that could either compromise the system, the environment or both. The choice of rod seal is dependent on application and Artic Seals has a wide range of different sealing types that function under low pressure, high pressure, or a combination of both. Resistant to extrusion, side load, abrasion, temperature extremes, high sliding speeds and low friction.

Rod Seals are designed to work in combination with a wiper to ensure the optimum level of contamination resistance and rod cleanliness is achieved. Artic Rod Seals are available in a wide range of metric and imperial sizes that comply with most international mounting standards including ISO 6020, ISO 5597 and ISO 7425-2. Materials include TPU, TPE, PTFE, NBR and High-Performance Engineered Plastics.
