GUIDE RINGS & BEARINGS

Artic Seals designs, develops and manufactures a range of Guide Rings and Bearings for Hydraulic and Pneumatic cylinders and actuators with linear and rotary movements. Guiding elements provide the load bearing function between the metallic components of the cylinder during movement. They prevent metallic contact between pistons and cylinders or rods and glands where forces act perpendicular to the direction of movement and can result in damage to either the sealing system and or damage to the hardware.

Artic Seals manufacture a range of Guide Rings and Bearings in either open or closed form in several different high-performance materials including specially filled grades of POM and PA6 to provide higher compressive strength, improved wear resistance and lower levels of friction. Guide Rings can also be supplied in filled grades of PTFE or a combination of polyester resin reinforced fabrics for applications requiring a higher level of compressive strength.
