PISTON SEALS

Artic Seals designs, develops and manufactures a range of Hydraulic and Pneumatic Piston Seals for cylinders, actuators and other pressure related equipment in both double acting and single acting configurations. The function of a piston seal is to separate and contain pressure acting on one or both sides of a piston and preventing leakage between the full bore and anulus side of the cylinder. The resulting action of retaining this pressure translates in to force and subsequently stroke movement of the piston within the cylinder.

Artic Piston Seals are available in a wide range of styles, materials and dimensions for a diverse range of applications; high and low pressures up to 600 bar, temperatures (-50°C to +230°C), low friction, high speed compact designs and composite materials. Artic Piston Seals are available in a wide range of metric and imperial sizes that comply with most international mounting standards including ISO 6020, ISO 5597 and ISO 7425-2. Materials include TPU, TPE, PTFE, NBR and High-Performance Engineered Plastics.
